St. 爱德华的 is committed to creating and maintaining a sustainable campus. Our green practices include eco-friendly building construction and landscaping, 循环再造及堆肥, experiential 学习ing with our campus as a "living laboratory," and student involvement in organizations such as Students for 可持续性. Morris oversees the maintenance operations for the university, 包括能源管理, 景观服务, 托管服务, 还有各种各样的建筑系统. He has input and oversight responsibilities with projects ranging from minor repairs to larger renovations. 在来圣. 爱德华的, Morris oversaw 环境 and energy management in a large public school system and had significant involvement with the development of energy conservation, 可再生能源倡议, 学生接触, 和可持续性.

University Arborist/可持续性协调员 

持证的树艺师, Johnson manages the campus tree-care plan, 维护我们的景观, and serves on the 树 Campus USA committee. Johnson has kickstarted sustainability projects in his area including the Grounds for Grounds project that turns used coffee grounds from campus cafes and Jo's Coffee into compost and turning landscape waste into compost or mulch that is used right here on campus. He also was the visionary who created the campus Food Forest, a teaching space adjacent to the Campus Garden.

Bella oversees the 可持续发展办公室 social media accounts, 内容创作, 以及宣传材料, and is assigned tasks each week by University 营运副总裁, 吉姆·莫里斯, with the goal of increasing sustainability initiatives and awareness on the Hilltop. 贝拉现在是大四学生, majoring in 沟通 and Advertising and plans to graduate Spring 2024! Bella is currently also SEU representative and Social Media Intern for Austin Reuse Coalition, local non-profit with a mission to create a more sustainable Austin.
